QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

Leigh Ashley, M.A., LMFT., is a Christian coach, consultant, and a member of the EMS Weekend Retreat Team with Affair Recovery.com. She specializes in helping individuals and couples heal from the crisis and after effects of betrayal in its various forms. Wounded, bewildered, shocked and outraged—infidelity packs a punch. The whole nervous system, let alone the relationship, can feel so off balance that it is hard to know what is true about oneself, the relationship, even life. Finding a place of normalcy and understanding without having to make a quick, socially-acceptable decision or deflect an attitude of judgement can feel like a refuge in a chaotic existence.

Personally acquainted with infidelity and the dynamics of addictive thinking, Leigh leads groups addressing codependency and the thought patterns that support imbalanced relationships. Leigh's primary goal as a coach and consultant is to help her clients walk through one of life’s toughest challenges with support that is direct and compassionate, non-judgmental and informative, and based on a biblical worldview. Her life verse, that comes through her own healing process, is Philippians 3:14: 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
